Waseem Noordin is a cohort director, lecturer and examiner on the Implant Diploma Programme at the Royal College of Surgeons. At his private referral practice in Edgware, he runs a wide variety of programmes for dentists who wish to offer implant treatment and full-day courses for dental nurses. Dr Noordin provides assistance to colleagues in case planning and one-to-one mentoring on all aspects of implant treatment. He has completed a Masters Degree in Implant Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London Institute of Dentistry and obtained the Diploma in Implant Dentistry in 2004 from the RCS England. Waseem has been placing and restoring dental implants for more than 20 years, using a number of systems. He is an active member of the ADI and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

An Introduction to Implantology and Asepsis for Dental Nurses Saturday, 29 October 2011 | One day

The course is aimed at experienced and new dental nurses who assist the surgeon in the placement and restoration of implant cases. It is designed to increase and update nurses’ knowledge of implantology, patient management and care, Asepsis and sterilisation.

Educational outcome

Following attendance on this course, nurses should be able to assist the surgeon with greater confidence and understanding.
