Jonathan Ziff has been placing implants for more than fifteen years and delivering implant training for nearly a decade. He runs a number of implant courses and lectures regularly on implant related subjects. He has a particular interest in complex rehabilitative cases requiring a combined surgical, periodontal and restorative approach. Jonathan is in full-time implant practice at his two referral centres in Leicestershire. He qualified from Leeds University in 1987 and has placed and restored thousands of dental implants using leading implant systems. Dr Ziff is a mentor for the ANKYLOS system and offers surgical and restorative care for referred patients.
Intensive Course in Implant Dentistry Thursday, 20 September 2012 to Friday, 21 September 2012 | Two days
This intensive two-day course covers the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry. It is aimed at general dental practitioners who wish to see the benefits of the ANKYLOS system. Conducted in the relaxed atmosphere of one of Dr Ziff’s two specialist implant practices, the course is packed full of valuable first-hand implant training.
Course Summary
The programme includes lectures, live surgical and restorative treatments, with an emphasis on seeing live clinical procedures. Fixed and removable implant options are presented, as well as demonstrations of single tooth to full arch rehabilitations at the various stages.
Educational outcome
On completion, course participants should be able to identify cases within their own practice for implant therapy, and with appropriate mentoring begin to treat these patients.
Those experienced in implant dentistry should be able to introduce the ANKYLOS system into their own clinical treatments.
