Anthony Bendkowski is an oral surgeon with a practice limited to implant dentistry, and is Immediate Past President of the Association of Dental Implantology UK. He has lectured extensively in, and run courses on, surgical dentistry, implant dentistry and bone augmentation. Dr Bendkowski has twenty years’ experience of surgical and restorative management of referred implant cases. He undertakes all aspects of bone grafting, including iliac crest for reconstruction of extensively resorbed cases, as well as the newer technique of distraction osteogenesis.

This course gives participants an understanding of the indications for bone augmentation, the techniques available and the limitations of these techniques. Based in a private hospital, the course offers lectures, practical hands-on training and live surgery observation.
Educational outcome
During the course delegates gain a detailed understanding and practical experience of the basic surgical principles underlying successful bone management and augmentation techniques encountered in modern dental implant practice.
On completion, participants should have an understanding of basic bone augmentation techniques and how these apply to clinical practice for successful implant treatments.
