Dr Mitesh Badiani

Mitesh Badiani has lectured widely throughout the UK and abroad in implants and local anaesthetic, especially the use of the wand. He is principal of six private surgeries employing over 100 members of staff, including more than 30 dentists. His work is limited to mainly implants and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Badiani is a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the General Implant Forum and Training. He is on the Advisory Panel of the British Society of Oral Implantology and a member of the Association of Dental Implantology UK.
Professor StJohn Crean
BDS MBBS FDSRCS FFGDP (UK) FRCS FRCS(OMFS) PhD
StJohn Crean is Head of Institute of Postgraduate Dental Education, Director of Dental Research and Professor of Medicine in Dentistry at UCLAN. In addition, he is an Honorary Professor at University Cardiff Dental School, Visiting Professor at the University of Glamorgan and is President of the British Society of Oral Implantology. He offers specialist clinical skills in oral diseases, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and medicine in relation to dentistry service. Professor Crean is a Robert Bradlaw Advisor for the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons and is on the Executive Committee of the CCDAS of BDA. StJohn is also a member of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Place Dental Implants - Live Monday, 20 August 2012 | One day
The one day course is aimed at clinicians who have completed formal implant training (ie Year Programme or MSc) and are seeking ‘hands-on’ practical implant placement and restoration experience under supervision. Delegates are invited to attend as many course dates as they wish.
Course Summary
Delegates place and restore dental implants under the supervision of an experienced dental team. All patients are selected and sourced by Plymouth Dental Centre of Excellence.
Educational outcome
The course enables the delegate to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and gives them the confidence to place implants on their own patients.
Five hours verifiable CPD per day.
Detailed Programme
The course includes live implant placement on simple cases and covers the surgical and restorative aspects. Attendees are guaranteed to place more than one implant per course day.

In addition to offering postgraduate training, Plymouth Dental Centre of Excellence provides implant, cosmetic and general dentistry for approximately 5,000 patients per year. The practice has six treatment rooms, and utilises state-of-the-art equipment to ensure patients have the highest standard of care.

£350 per patient per day
