Mitesh Badiani has lectured widely throughout the UK and abroad in implants and local anaesthetic, especially the use of the wand. He is principal of six private surgeries employing over 100 members of staff, including more than 30 dentists. His work is limited to mainly implants and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Badiani is a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the General Implant Forum and Training. He is on the Advisory Panel of the British Society of Oral Implantology and a member of the Association of Dental Implantology UK.

This course is ideal for practitioners who wish to incorporate dental implant treatment into their practice, to advance their knowledge of dental implants or consolidate their current expertise.

Course Summary

The programme covers the theoretical aspects of implant dentistry. Delegates are guaranteed to treat two patients, from implant placement to fit. Suitable patients will be provided by Devon Dental Centre of Excellence. They will be screened and selected to ensure the cases provide appropriate practical experience. This will enable each participant to undertake tthe treatment from start to finish.

Educational outcome

The course satisfies General Dental Council requirements for training to provide implant treatment for patients. Following completion, delegates are able to treatment plan all implant cases, treat simple ones and refer complex cases to relevant specialists. Attendees should also be able to restore single tooth, full arches and over dentures.
